e-On Batteries is a leader in the Battery Energy Storage industry. They design and assemble Smart Battery Energy Storage Systems (SmartBess) with a focus on long-term reliability and safety. Systems combine a proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) and a LiFePo4, 6.4kWh module which is UL1973 listed. Systems are made from blocks ranging from 32kWh to over 2.5MWH and can be scaled to any size for a full range of utility and behind the meter applications.

But why use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries?
e-On Batteries provides lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) based energy storage systems with a focus on product safety. The LFP chemistry avoids the use of Cobalt in the cathode, and instead utilizes Iron Phosphate, which provides some protection against overcharge, and increased thermal stability.
