Benefits of Copper Clad Steel Wire:

  • High Conductivity: Copper’s outer layer ensures efficient fault current and lightning strike dissipation.

  • Stable Performance: Conductivity remains stable, even in harsh environments.

  • Mechanical Strength: Steel core offers superior tensile strength, ideal for long spans and high loads.

  • Durability: Resists stretching and sagging, ensuring reliability.

  • Corrosion Resistance: Copper cladding shields the steel core from corrosion.

  • Long Service Life: Suitable for harsh climates, industrial zones, or coastal areas.

  • Cost Efficiency: CCS is cheaper than pure copper and less attractive to thieves due to lower scrap value.

Vendor Feature

Also joining us in our booth will be Northern Transformer, a Canadian manufacturer of liquid-filled power transformers serving utilities, renewable energy projects, and industrial customers across North America. Its current Maple, Ontario facility manufactures transformers up to 100 MVA and 240 kV, while its new Innisfil facility will expand capabilities to transformers up to 750 MVA and 500 kV. Northern combines proven transformer technology with Canadian engineering and manufacturing expertise.
