Valmont

Valmont Industries, Inc. is a leading producer and distributor of products for the infrastructure and agricultural markets. Valmont began in 1946 when founder, Robert B. Daugherty, combined his $5,000 savings with a wholehearted belief that business could and should be done better.

Valmont has grown and evolved since our founding, but our commitment to leveraging innovation to make the world better has never changed.

PRODUCT RANGE

Tubular Steel Poles

The unique attributes of steel give Valmont’s engineers ultimate flexibility to create steel transmission poles that meet load requirements, industry standards and your expectations.

Spun Concrete Poles

When spinning and pre-stressing are combined, you get concrete poles with the highest density, lowest weight and best strength-to-weight ratio available.

Composite Utility Poles

Shakespeare Tuff-Pole® composite utility poles are stronger, lighter, and longer lasting than ever.

Tubular Substation Structures

While traditional structural shapes (square and rectangle) have a history of strength and a place in low-profile or low-voltage situations, their complexity and bulk can be unwieldy. However, tubular structures (circular) provide the same strength with significantly less weight, fewer bolts and lower costs.

Substation Composite Fence

The SafeFence™ substation perimeter system is a non-conductive, composite fence that provides safety and security. The fiberglass wall deters would-be vandals and wildlife, while keeping substation equipment from view.

Rapid Response™ Distribution Pole

The Rapid Response™ pre-engineered product line offers the most comprehensive pre-engineered steel structures in the industry. Rapid Response™ V-Series is the ideal solution for standardized structures larger than H10 and are available in round or 12-sided steel. Complete catalogue poles from Class 5 to V-20 are available in PLS-POLE for use in quick line design and emergency project response engineering.
